When I perused the assortment of Blowfish Shoes available, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t find anything particularly outlandish in style or price. What I did find were some fun, stylish and comfortable looking shoes at really affordable prices.
Blowfish Ladder Shoes (shown here) would be perfect for my daughter. They have a sort of Crusader look to them, following the foot up to ankle height. Available in black and brown, they sell for around $39.
Blowfish Seeing Shoes are adorable open toed flats that come in a variety of colors. My favorite is red patent leather. These sell for $39 as well.
I will be checking out my local stores for Blowfish Shoes. After all, they are all the spring rage, and anyone who is anyone will be wearing these darling shoes.

Pop star Janet Jackson has gone with a new ultra-short doo. Recently spotted in London, the singer looks vastly different than her former style. Images seen at Popeater show Miss Jackson’s old haircut versus her new haircut. The best way to describe the new haircut is similar to that of Brigette Nielsen, blonde celebrity/actress who was last seen on VH1’s the Surreal Life, and that show where she and Flavor Flav explored their potential romantic relationship together.
A poll at Popeater.com with the article about Jackson has indicated that the majority of people there don’t like the new haircut. In fact, over 13,000 had voted “Thumbs Down” while just under 5,000 voters voted “Thumbs Up”. It’s clearly a hard look to like on the pop diva who we have become so used to seeing a certain way.
The latest celeb gossip also has attached Jackson romantically to businessman Wissam Al Mana. What’s known about Al Mana so far is that he’s 35-years-old and from Qatar. He is a wealthy managing directr of Al Mana Retail, a luxury corporate group in the Middle East, and owns homes worldwide. According to a source close to the couple, they are in an exclusive relationship. (radaronline.com)
Previously Jackson had been dating hip hop music mogul and businessman, Jermaine Dupri. The couple split up last summer after dating for seven years. Dupri also left his job working as the head of Urban Music for Virgin, due to the bad performance of Jackson’s album there. However, the couple will be reunited again, musically on the new Janet album coming soon.
For right now, Janet is continuing promotion of her latest film “Why Did I Get Married Too?” a sequel to the 2007 film by Tyler Perry “Why Did I Get Married?”

According to reports ABC has announced that they will have to cancel the successful TV series Ugly Betty after four seasons. So the show is going to have its final bow on April 14. They will present its final season in the spring. It’s not good news for the viewers of Ugly Betty.
American comedy-drama television series Ugly Betty was premiered on ABC on September 28, 2006. It’s a comedy drama series which is created by Silvio Horta and it presents a Ugly Betty starring America Ferrera whose style is so old-fashioned. Betty with her old style works in a New York fashion magazine. It’s an award winning comedy series and its producers are Salma Hayek, Silvio Horta, Ben Silverman, Jose Tamez and Joel Fields. In 2006, when this TV series began there were 16.1 viewers and it gained popularity in a short span of time. In 2007, this comedy series won a Golden Globe for Best Comedy Series and an Emmy for Best Actress in a comedy series. There is still not confirmation from ABC that when Ugly Betty will return to air.
In the fourth season Ugly Betty’ was moved to different times and days. It was a confusing situation for the viewers and it also affected the show rating. It was already said that such conditions would affect its rating and some fans predicted its cancellation. Ugly Betty’s fourth season premiere in the United States aired in October 2009. Its cancellation was already announced but the exact date was not confirmed.

Jason Derulo — a Kara DioGuardi signee — takes the stage wearing a studded jacket that looks like it wants to become an Adam Lambert costume when it grows up. (By the way, Adam will be mentoring the Idols next week, something Katie Stevens didn’t know until just now — she squealed.) Jason sings a medley of his two hits, Whatcha Say and In My Head, in a production number that includes some stop-time effects. Jason sounds pretty good compared to some of the musical guests we’ve seen this year, and he’s not a bad dancer, either.
Kara says Jason is “an incredible songwriter. … I’m so proud of him. He had four days to get this together, and you just killed it.” Even Simon, apparently, was bobbing his head during the performance, and he gives Jason a “well done.”

2tieatie.com is a fun story of three teenagers, John, Matthew, and Nathan, from 13 to 18 years of age, who created a website over the summer as a project with their father. It started out when the brothers have been hearing countless stories of people having troubles learning the arts of tying a tie, and they think these problems probably associate with the simple idea that they are choosing the wrong knot. James Van Der Beek and Heather McComb have reached a divorce settlement. According court papers filed Monday, the Dawson’s Creek actor will pay McComb $7,750 per month for the next two-and-a-half years.
Beek will keep their North Hollywood home, and retain rights to all of his screenplays and other work.
Beek and McComb filed for divorce in November 2009 after 6 years of marriage. Beek, who currently stars in Formosa Betrayed, has been linked to model Kimberly Brook.

A woman who said she had an affair with Tiger Woods claims that members of Woods’ inner circle, including his agent, knew of the extramarital affairs that resulted in Woods missing four months on the PGA Tour and spending 45 days in a rehabilitation clinic.
In the April issue of Vanity Fair magazine, Mindy Lawton — a Orlando, Fla.-area waitress — said that Woods put her in touch with his agent, Mark Steinberg, when The National Enquirer learned of her affair with the golfer.
Woods said in interviews last week that people around him were unaware of the extramarital affairs which landed him in the tabloids.
“It was all me,” he told the Golf Channel in an interview on March 21. “I’m the one who did it. I’m the one who acted the way I acted. No one knew what was going on when it was going on.
“I’m sure if more people would have known in my inner circle, they would have stopped it or tried to put a stop to it. But I kept it all to myself,” he said.
According to Lawton, when she contacted Steinberg at Woods’ request, Steinberg said, “We’ll take care of it.”
She told Vanity Fair: “That’s when their brush-under-the-rug, the cover-up, happened.” She was referring to a deal that the Enquirer allegedly made with Woods’ handlers to hold the adultery story in exchange for Woods giving an exclusive interview to its sister publication, Men’s Fitness.
A spokesperson for The National Enquirer denied to Vanity Fair that the publication held the Lawton story in exchange for an exclusive interview with Woods, who was on the cover of Men’s Fitness in August 2007.
Steinberg did not respond to requests for comment from Vanity Fair. ESPN has not received a comment from Steinberg.
Vanity Fair says it interviewed four women who claim to have had affairs with Woods.
Another reported mistress, Jamie Jungers, told Vanity Fair that Bryon Bell, a longtime friend of Woods and the president of Tiger Woods Design, would arrange travel for her to meet Woods. Vanity Fair said that Bell did not respond to requests for comment.
Woods crashed his car into a fire hydrant outside of his home in the early-morning hours of Nov. 27, which unleashed a torrent of stories about his off-the-course life. He said he went to a rehabilitation clinic in late December for 45 days.
He is scheduled to return for The Masters, beginning April 8. He has not played competitive golf since a win at the Australian Masters in November.
He will hold a news conference Monday at 2 p.m. ET, the first time he’s taken questions from reporters, other than five-minute interviews with ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi and The Golf Channel on March 21.

The universe has realigned itself. America’s Next Top Model is back to one-hour episodes. We’re back to the normal and harmonious pattern of challenge-photo shoot-elimination. Tyra has taken back her place as chief of sass in the judging panel. And someone attempting to become a model decided it was a good idea to wear a swimsuit to judging panel.
We’re BACK!
I’ll have you know that my Elton John-inspired headline up there is not just a hollow, clever pun. (Though it is SO clever.) It’s also a beautifully concise summary of what tonight’s America’s Next Top Model episode (which was merely episode 3, though I, like Ren, “feel like I’ve been here for months”) was all about: whining and dancing. More specifically, given the show’s overall premise–a premise which the show itself often forgets for long spans of time–how whining and dancing affect one’s modeling. Important issues that definitely needed delving into.
So here’s what happened during America’s Next Top Model cycle 14 episode 3, “Let’s Dance”:

Pop star Madonna is joining British funnyman Ricky Gervais for an upcoming small screen series “The Marriage Ref” about domestic disputes.
The show is being produced by Jerry Seinfeld and will see a panel of celebrities judge the winner of domestic disputes between feuding couples.
Madonna is listed alongside Gervais as one of the panellists due to film an episode in New York next week.
“Jerry’’s doing a new show about marriage guidance and he wants me to be involved. I pointed out that my ambition was to one day be nearly as good as him. It was amazing,” the Daily Star quoted Geravis as saying.
The show is also expected to feature guest appearances from stars including Alec Baldwin, Tina Fey and “Desperate Housewives” actress Eva Longoria Parker.
